International Women's Day 2025To celebrate International Women's Day (8.3.25), we had a wonderful afternoon and were visited by 3 inspirational women. We began our afternoon learning why we celebrate International Women's Day- we learnt about some inspirational woman in history as well as from today. We then spoke about equality and stereotypes. We were visited by Debbie Bere- a sex and relationship educator and body confidence expert; Liz Stimpson- an inspiring engineer and Rosie Bloor- a sheep farmer. We really enjoyed working in house teams (rather than class groups) and we learnt all about the visitors varied and exciting jobs, day to day life and we asked some really interesting questions. Thank you to Debbie, Liz and Rosie for spending the afternoon in school and for really engaging and exciting our children. ... See MoreSee Less
